Good food and service at a reasonable price. Also a good view of the Lake. I worked here from 1986 -1994. Glad this building has been so well kept up.
Bishop ranch is a great and beautiful place to shop, work and eat. Jealous for the workers that work here in the top of the notch cooperate office plaza. And for lunch they can simply come here and after lunch take a short walk around the lake. Especially, this dinning place that is right by the lake, such a beautiful view and the price is reasonable, most are around 10-15 dollars.
I was really impressed by the lake view, the calm and soothing atmosphere, and the café choices at Roundhouse. It's like an oasis within the busy San Ramon city center. It's a great place to meet friends for coffee or a meal and then take a short hike around the lake. The facility offers plenty of comfortable seating, both indoor and outdoor, and there is ample parking available. The cafes offer a wide range of foods, including seafood, salads, pizzas, and meat dishes, all at reasonable prices around $13-16. The outdoor area, certain part of the indoor areas and restaurants are open to general public. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return often in the future.
It's Labor Day weekend, so for review #2000, let's Yelp about Work-Life balance. My company recently rented out a section of the Roundhouse Conference Center for about 2000 employees. I've been working remotely here 2 days of the week with the other three days in Richmond. Yes, I've suffered a 2hr RT daily commute for well over 20 years. The Roundhouse has excellent facilities - some open to the public while others for tenants only. Public places: * The amazing lake, perfect for stroll, jogs, and walks to decompress. * Several decent food options in the market - I like Bishop Farms for their sandwich combos, and Quarterly for their thin-crust pizzas. They also have a food cart with random specials - Pho, Butter Chicken over rice, and sometimes a Poke Bowl. * Lakeside Coffee has some decent espresso drinks and some creative concoctions like Peaches and Cream Lattes. * Chevron Federal Credit Union for banking needs. The tenant-only facilities include: * Roundhouse Fitness - I'm happy to be able to join a clean gym again. It's huge yet membership seems low for now. Hardly any wait for the squat rack and I love the assisted chin/dip machine. The locker rooms themselves are huge - plenty of shower stalls and bathrooms but I wished the locker/changing bench were larger. * The general layout of the office spaces are great. Having natural light and a Lakeside view is great, and the network connectivity is excellent. With a 10-minute vs a 2-hour daily commute it's definitely a win-win. Yes I'll be happy to take early morning calls to Houston or later calls to Singapore or Australia from here!
Calling all work from home professionals. This place is an amazing gem. This area has publicly open spaces that allow anyone to work in, and purchase delicious food along the way. You can get high quality healthy food for under $15 a steal. It makes look a bit wierd on the outside but to get in just follow the signs for roundhouse market.
